Virginia State Police Licensed Vehicle Safety Inspector & ASE and/or Manufacture Certified Diagnostic Technician
We currently have career opportunities for motivated, success-driven ASE-certified Technicians and Mechanics. State Inspectors license a plus but not required; Applicant must be reliable; work & personal references must be provided and a valid VA Drivers License with good driving record is a must.

Responsibilities may include:

Test and Diagnose electrical and mechanical components to confirm cause of failures and extent of damage.
Repair and overhaul defective automotive units, such as engines, transmissions, or differentials.
Repair or replace parts, such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
Overhaul or replace carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters, and pumps.
Repair manual and automatic transmissions.
Repair, replace, and adjust brakes.
Rewire ignition system, lights, and instrument panel.
Repair or replaces shock absorbers.
Install and repair accessories, such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers.
Repair radiator leaks.
Replace and adjusts headlights.
Examine vehicles and discuss extent of damage or malfunction with customer.
Computerized Alignments.
Rebuild parts, such as crankshafts and cylinder blocks.
Repair damaged automobile bodies.
Perform VA State Safety Inspections.
